Ocean night and day heater

Hello everyone.

I was wondering about the night and day heater on the ocean. Is it a diesel heater which runs off the fuel tank or is it electric. Which would mean running off the electric or leisure batteries. Is it quiet or can you hear it at night?

It runs off the diesel, so long as you have a diesel engine! There's been a lot of talk recently about the petrol version's heater.

I wouldn't say they're quiet, but I don't feel it is intrusive...

Yes. I have a diesel heater in my T25 Westfalia and it runs lovely and can get hot inside the cabin. It's a great piece of kit for the ocean and especially with the remote.
