Hello,
Sorry for the poor English.
I've recently the owner of a VW California T5 2004 with a 1.9 tdi 77 kw motorcode AXB.
problem:
Oil pressure alert 5 seconds after engine start. (3 beeps and reported low oil pressure Engine off) remains visible as long as the engine is running.
I have replaced the pressure sensor. According to the technical data, the sensor is 0 ohm when the pressure is higher than 0.7 bar. I have tested this and the sensor is closed (0 ohm)above 0.7 bar.
When disconnect the sensor connection en started the engine I get no message and everything seems OK.
Connector during the running of the engine via an extension cord be connected to earth. Now I get the message from the oil pressure back.
It seems to work the other way it should be.
Who can give me a good tip, all suggestions are welcome.
regards Richard the netherlands
