Hello,

Sorry for the poor English. ;)

I've recently the owner of a VW California T5 2004 with a 1.9 tdi 77 kw motorcode AXB.

problem:

Oil pressure alert 5 seconds after engine start. (3 beeps and reported low oil pressure Engine off) remains visible as long as the engine is running.

I have replaced the pressure sensor. According to the technical data, the sensor is 0 ohm when the pressure is higher than 0.7 bar. I have tested this and the sensor is closed (0 ohm)above 0.7 bar.
When disconnect the sensor connection en started the engine I get no message and everything seems OK.
Connector during the running of the engine via an extension cord be connected to earth. Now I get the message from the oil pressure back.

It seems to work the other way it should be.

Who can give me a good tip, all suggestions are welcome. :thanks

This is not an engine that is supplied for the California, so this may be why you have had no replies. Maybe also worth asking on this forum, which covers T4's and T5' of all types:
