Overhead Battery console on 21plate 6.1 Cali Ocean 4motion

Dear all,
I took a series of photos of the overhead console over a couple of days driving. No full charge button on and No consumers -Fridge, heating, USB, Inverter were on. Generally I see >60hrs 12,7v -1A or more v With a full set of blue bars - I take this to mean over 60hrs operation, current level 12.7V and drawing -1A. However from the photos you can see a variety of readings with a variety of blue bars lit up. Does anyone know why this is as the blue bars seem to drop for no reason and operation times also.. Is there a definitive user guide or instruction manual telling whats what? Its been to the dealership and they say both batteries are in good shape and are charging from the alternator. .. Forgive me if I'm being think!

At rest, I use this simple rule. 12.7v is full. 11.7v is empty or flat.at 12v get on charge

It certainly appears at first glance that the displayed available power figures are often non-sensical. Why would pic 2 (12.7V have less time, though with a lower draw) than pic 1, for example.

We all know that it's just a general guide and far from an exact science or even reliable indication of SOC at any given point.

As long as both leisure batteries are charging from the alternator while driving and holding the charge sufficient for your needs, I wouldn't worry.

The blue bars are VW’s interpretation of throwing chicken bones on a dustbin lid to work out what voltage are in the battery’s.
So when it says lower than 12v, charge it.
And when full, happy days.
