Portugal in April

Off to Portugal in April, originally intended to work our way down the coast to Lisbon, now plan to leave Santander and drive down overnight and possibly go down to the Algarve.
Can anyone recommend a quality campsite nr Lisbon, kids desire site with a pool.
My research so far suggests that many sites pools do not open until mid April .
Most sites I've looked at have mediocre reviews, as we normally tour in France, Germany, Switzerland am I expecting to much of Portugal, are sites generally of lesser quality?

we haven’t stayed there but I have it pinned on my google map of campsites that people have recommended. It’s the only one in Portugal.

Do you have the ACSI book? An excellent source of European campsites and with an off season discount card. Not sure if it will apply in April but once you have narrowed down your selection you could always enquire.
