Pro-Tech Treatment

My dealer is offering a comprehensive paint and interior protection treatment by Pro-Tech. Has anyone one had this treatment and how effective is it?

All these treatments are very nice earners for the dealers in terms of commission. Generally the product cost is small, you are paying for the labour of whoever he gets to apply it and maybe 50% of the cost is dealers commission.

Again in general they will not be applied by professionals and you are *far* better off taking your money to a recommended private local detailer who has a reputation to keep and generally does it for the pride in his job as well as the salary.

Totally agree with MF. Detailer will do the best job. Firstly if you go down this route any self respecting Detailer will ask that the dealer does nothing to the vehicle at all as they will only create more work. Stick in Detailer in search and you will get some hits.
