Hello from Canada.
I have a problem with Cali charger, my unit is imported from Japan, they have 100V there, Canada is 120V...
My charger burned after hooked up, I assume the reason for it is above.
Now, what would you guys suggest as a solution.
When the engine is on now, the charge is displayed but battery icon and the bars disappear.
When the engine is not working, on the top are 3 dashes, and battery icon is blinking. I assume that means that its dead.
Is actually blinking battery an indicator tht its dead?
Any suggestions how to deal with it?

Well it could/should be possible to replace the components burned out on the board.

You could get another charger.

There a numerous threads on here regarding replacements. Search and you'll find.

I have no idea if there was/is a different standard unit for 60hz supply. (Europe is 50hz).

Keep us informed and shout if you need more help.

I will be in EU soon and my first approach will be fixing/adjusting components on the board.
I hoped there is one to purchase, North American standard, but I guess not so easy.
Thanks.
