RCD 310 - Media in - What can I do with it now?

I have a RCD 310 with a Media-in thing, that you used to connect to an iPod.

I don't have an iPod, they are probably collectors items,, but wondered if there is anyway to still make use of it?

If it has a 30pin connector you can buy a converter to use with lightning sockets. So you can then use later generation iPods and iPhones. Plenty on eBay.

You can plug something like this into it (providing you haven’t already got the vw Bluetooth set up which is £300 to buy) . This gives you Bluetooth streaming of podcasts and music etc from your phone (and radio). I think you can plug this in the back on your unit so you don’t have wires on show, just this button place discreetly.
