Does anyone know what current output the rear 12v socket can provide?

Also which battery does it run from?

It runs from the leisure batteries only and is rated at 120w.
Apparently not to be run at full capacity for longer than 10 minutes. I have an EcoFlow plugged in and running at 100w for longer than 10 minutes without any issues yet.

Cheers, I’ve just bought an Anker Solix so was interested for that.

Hi, a bit off topic but still on rear sockets. Non of the 3 usb c rear sockets on my van are giving power when parked, surely they should be running off the leisure battery, is there a setting I’m missing???

Isn't it about 20A? Surely not less than 15A.
That times 12 makes the power. So it should be about 240W, or 180W.
If a normal European Multivan, or UK Caravelle has that same socket there, it's powered by the starter battery, because it's own to the van. If they changed it from the T6 or upwards, I don't know. They could have powered it from the leisure batteries. That is easily checked when plugging something in there, and check the control display for current drawn. If yes, it's from the leisure batteries, if not, it's from the starter battery.

Mine all run although I tend to put the vehicle in camping mode. By the way you have one in the right sliding door pocket, one in the right side window and one in the kitchen and one in the rear cabinet.

Ok thanks, what’s it under, I had a look but couldn’t find anything, also, isn’t the manual fantastic!!!

I had a quick look in the manual and it’s clear as mud about fuse locations - pretty poor considering everything is online.
I will have a double check to see if there is a setting for the rear.

Had another look this morning, there is no setting on my screen for rear power, just max and normal. I also checked and the usb sockets work with the engine running, so it seems just no leisure battery power

Try turning camping mode on from the California app on your phone or the screen at the rear.
I just checked and it turns on the four USB-C sockets in the rear.

Mine appears to be different, apologies if I’m being dumb, but I can’t find any other options, just camping mode on is blue, white is of. I know this is working because when it’s on it shows engine battery voltage

Ok just got that menu up by going into the app settings and telling it to synchronise with the van. However, when the screen shuts down it goes back to how it was, menu gone. Gave me enough time to turn the usb settings on, so cheers Ian, don’t know why that menu is not on permanently, but anyway sussed it :thanks

To get to this menu, I believe you need to press the home button once to wake to screen up - this will take you to a sort of quick menu. If you then press the home button again you should get the full menu. If you select Camping Mode in the full menu, you should see the options Ian has highlighted above.

Hope that helps!

Thanks for that, works perfectly, and I’ve just discovered the California van life app for the other functions I was looking for, Geez that manual is crap, and tbh I think my handover could have been a bit more in depth, so thanks to the boffins, I’m sure they’ll be some more noob questions coming :)
