Rear Seat Drama

hi there folks, we have a Cali Beach T6 (3-seat variant). There is a piece of fabric loose at the back of the bench seat which looks like it has become detached. The local dealer says this is an aftermarket addition and not part of the OEM specification.

Could someone else with a Beach take a look at the photo an offer an opinion based on their own experience? Thanks.

It is OEM, the dealer is wrong. Ask then to look in a caravelle as it is the same seat. It covers up the hinges

I'd take a photo of mine but the boot is full of bedding.

This was always coming loose on my caravelle.
It just needs some plastic trim plugs to hold it in. You can see the holes in your photo.
