Replacing leisure battery

Hi,

I have recently purchased a 2005 California and both leisure batteries are dead. I want to replace them but wanted to make sure that the existing batteries are correct for this vehicle.

It currently has 2 silver dynamic Varta AGM 580901080 80ah 800amp. When I checked these batteries the website said they were start/stop batteries. I’ve had a look around the forums and some people have said Agm batteries are good for leisure batteries.

Really unsure what to do though as I don’t want to buy the wrong ones. Can anyone help?

The correct battery is:
Varta Professional Dual Purpose AGM 80 Ah, Short code: LA80

That been said, your battery Varta Silver Dynamic AGM 80 Ah, Short code:F21 is also correct, even though it is a start/stop battery. Those two batteries (LA80 and F21) is identical. They are only labeled differently depending to which market they aim for.
