Our RNS started to wander around off track at times. This seemed fairly random but looked like it was losing the satelites signal.
Rather than start dismantling the aerial in the wing mirror and associated wiring I got one of these.

Straight plug in replacement for the standard aerial, lives under the dash tray and works fine.

Got the same Off-location RNS510, How to replace the orginal GPS antenna to this?Does it have a different connector?

That link has changed and is not the one needed.
This is the one required and is a simple plug in with the correct Fakra connector for the RNS unit.
Obviously you will have to pull the unit out of the dash, unplug the old aerial and plug in the new one. We have the new antennae on top of the dash just in front of the windscreen where it has a clear view of the sky.
Hope this helps.

Thats what I have. Thought you put the extended antenna on the RNS510.
