A devastated father says he's being forced to sell his 'dream' Volkswagen campervan after its plant-based wires were 'eaten by rats'.
Saw this article, which set me off reading the many threads on this topic over the years across the forum. Various measures are proposed, from toilet blocks to ultrasonic deterrents to tape to sprays. My cars are parked outside, we live in the countryside, etc., so this sounds like a risk, especially as we don’t use our second car much.
Has anyone fitted a toilet block found it didn’t work? Seems to me that’s the cheapest and easiest preventative, but obviously only if it works. What do you have for your vehicles, if anything?
