Hi all,
We had a replacement roof fitted under warantee in 2015 after finding that the roof paintwork had corroded. Now we are having a roof collapse issue!
Last summer the roof collapsed/slumped on the RHS by about 30cm once. I used the central control button to put it back up again, then we had a good summer of camping without issue. Although I assumed that there might have just been an airlock in the hydraulic fluid, I took it into a VW garage to get the hydraulics checked out last September; they gave a clean bill of health for the arms and pump. Unfortunately, the slumping has happened again this weekend (almost 1 year later), with the roof falling down further this time - about 45cm over a period of 4 hours.
Has anyone else who had a new roof fitted had this problem? or, if you have had this problem, have you found out the cause?
