Roof concerns

Hi, I'm looking at models from 2005 to 2010, the 174 model with no cambelt, but someone mentioned that there was a recall due to rotting aluminium roof panels. Should I be insisting the repair work has been done on any model I consider? I heard it's a £4000 job? All advice welcome. Thanks. Anthony

No recall and it is purely cosmetic. If you've got it you would see it, and the repair now is different involving respraying and fitting a plastic cap.
