Roof hatch and pads

So the hatch tends to slide open a little when driving. I see two worn out pads, bit like some sort of 3M tape by the hatch running tracks. Am guessing these used to provide a bit of friction to help with this and any rattles. Anyone replaced these and if so what worked best?
