I use my cali for everything and with the cali being a high seating position more so than my old vw T3 and a large glass area especially the side windows,a comfortable armchair for a seat,a smooth chillout dsg gearbox lovely and warm and quiet,being able to look over walls and hedges and cars definitely a room with a view.

Agree with all that, and especially the big side windows. Compare them with a Transit Custom. The Transit glass area looks OK from outside, but viewing from inside the actual area you can see through is tiny.

I read something on the forum, then find myself compelled to go and get in the van, for a drive or even just a cuppa.
Maby odd, but who cares?

We've had a few drinkies with friends on the drive in ours. After you've got all settled in it seems more fun to stay!

Phew, I thaught I was alone, and wierd.
I often sleep in it in the garden
It is so lovely an cool, and you can watch the weather, while being all snug and Cosey, and no children.
Maby there should be a Cali's anonymous group for the addicts
