Hi can anyone advise on rubber step mats to protect the entrance to your t6 van .I keep managing to loose them .stuck them down with double sided tape with no luck any suggestions please

we don't use any step mats, but have a rubber mat behind the drivers seat and removed shows as soon as we get in (without treading on the non mat area). step mats that come lose etc are a slip / trip hazard. :)

You can use a couple of Velcro dots or cut a couple of squares.
Clean & degrease the step where glue is to be applied,
glue the fuzzy side to the mat, let the glue cure.
attach the Loop side to the fuzzy , a little bit of clear flexible glue on the back of the loop pieces stick it in position & weight it down until the glue has cured.
Take care when removing the mats so not to pull the Loop section off of the step.
You now have mats fixed in place that can be removed for cleaning

If required the Velcro can be removed and the glue can be peeled off the step

I am looking for the same , let me know if you find one.

Any recommendations for step mats? Mine have all curled up at the edges. I guess the answer is to not buy the cheapest ones!

I would like to find some good quality rubber step mats as well.

I bought a big sheet of rubber mat on Amazon. Cut a large rectangle for the boot and then used the offcuts to make step mats. Stuck them down with double sided tape and they haven'y moved a jot. All in £30???
