Safeguard insurance - breakdown cover

Might be worth checking that the AA have your details. Called them Saturday as van wouldn’t start. They had no record of any cover for the vehicle even though it had been insured with Safeguard for last two years. Luckily it was at home and I had other options.

Had no problems when I called them on a flat.

That was number I called which is the AA. Had no record of my vehicle and refused to come out unless I paid. Luckily it happened at home and I had other options.

What was Safeguards response on this ?

Didn’t seem to think it was an issue. Said I should have paid the money and would have been sorted out on the Monday. Weren’t interested in the least that I’d been insured with them for two years and AA had no details for me at all. If i wanted to make a complaint it would only be passed to the AA.
