Safety Rating?

We are nearly decided on buying our first California but have been unable to find any information regarding safety. Does anyone know if the van has been given a rating?
Any information people have would be great....Thanks

I work on the principle that whatever safety rating a vehicle may have......if you crash hard it's a matter of luck whether you hurt yourself or not.

Nothing specific for the Cali, but the T5 is 4*

Much as a hate the reliability of modern vws and the outrageous sums main dealers charge for maintenance that a few years ago you could do yourself. The improvements in vehicle safety are considerable

You see the side impacts, and just compare to one without side airbags

It may be scant comfort, but assuming you are a competent driver, the probability of a serious crash is low.

So probability you will, in turn, be harmed in a serious crash is very low.

I have never had a serious crash, so could have been driving round in a Morgan for my whole life and it would not have mattered. I am now touching wood
