Sea spray on canvas

Hello,
Would you rince the elevating roof canvas after sepending time by the sea because of the salted sea spray ?

I’d rinse the whole van including roof, canvas and roof struts. Salt will cause damage eventually to most surfaces, can’t do much harm to rinse it off. Just don’t use a pressure washer!

I would go along with that, rinse the whole van and the underneath.
