We can highly recommend skye

I've only ever been there twice. On both occasions, years apart in October and November respectively, the weather was clear, dry and sunny with not a breath of wind. What are the chances of that? Everyone I've ever spoken to about Skye has said the weather for them was grim.

It’s a site run by the local community and is perfectly located if your heading to the ferry to Mallaig or the road bridge

You're there at the right time. Skye is nowadays getting very overcrowded between May and Sep.

Glenbrittle campsite is lovely (by the beach at the foot of the Cuillins).
