Sliding table wobbly

iv noticed internal sliddling table is wobbly, not noticed this before, seems to be the leg, on inpestion and tightening a few bits I noticed a tiny grub screw missing and found it on carpet, I put this back in but it screws all way in and drops back out again, am I missing something? And what's it meant to do?

Known problem. Screws, nuts, rivets get loose. Taighten them, replace rivets if bad.
Good thing you noticed this, because if left unnoticed it will go beyond repair/service-able.
Can't help you about your specific screw without picture. If you have a friend with a California look in his/her to see how it's put together.

Tightened bolt under table, also rollers a little, the little grub hex screw is the take adjustable drop down leg mechanism off, so just screwed in a little not all the way before it drops out again, can't work out what's moving, rivets all seem ok, it's only 2 years old, perhaps it's me that hasn't noticed movement before
