Snowdonia National Park

Looking for recommendations for a site in the national park something basic ie no club house/pool etc but with a decent shower block

There is a nice CMHC site close to Porthmadog.We had couple of nights there in June.Smaller club owned site cant recall name

You could try Cae Du campsite in Beddgellert. It has decent showers and toilet facilities.

In the winter for climbing and walking it's awesome.
In the summer? Less so.
Why?
It's on the river so in the warmer months this place is a Midgie nightmare!!
The farmers dogs barking and chicken noises can be a right royal pain too. My solution for that however is to get obliterated in the pub!
