Hi folks,

Any idea what spline bit size I need to remove the sliding door arm? M8?
I don't want to buy the wrong size.

Cheers!

Hmm, might even be M10, not really sure about that. Might check it tomorrow. What arm do you mean? the middle, top or bottom?
But M8 you might need when a door lock fails.

Thanks, that would be really helpful. Its the bottom bracket. Have had some problems with the electric closure suddenly opening and see now that the screw holding the door to the bracket is scraping as the door gets pulled in just before it’s fully closed. The screw protrudes under the bracket by about 3mm so I want to loosen it up to test it. If this works I figure I can just stick a washer on the top so it doesn’t poke out under the bracket so much :)

Ok, I will have a look tomorrow.
Don't know about your van, but my under arm (of the California of course), is covered by a plastic part that has te be removed to get to the bolts.
But as mine is a mixture of the original and the facelift California, I suppose those parts will be the same.
