Storage for windout awning in 3 seater beach

Where do people put the handle for the windout awning in their three seater beaches. The 2 seater and the ocean have a lovely large draw to accomodate, the three seater has 3 useful drawers but they are too small for the handle....in the tail gate with chairs, would this work?

It fits down the side of the multiflex, and can then be accessed from either the tailgate or sliding door entrance

Mine is a fiamma and the handle has a joint in it, it will sit in bottom side compartment with a bend in the handle quite happily.

Down the side of the bench seat.

I also reckon it would fit nicely between the awning casing and roof - but have never tried. You'd certainly have to do something to stop it rattling in that position, and you'd need an alternative storage location when the awning is wound out.

I think that @Borris found it could be stored behind the table in the sliding door cavity.
