Strength of rear shelf

I know this is a crazy question, but does anyone know if the rear parcel shelf/bed extension (original T5) is strong enough to act as a ramp to load a mobility scooter into the opened-up back half of the old Cali? I'm sure I can't be the only one who has ever tried this.
