T6.1 Active TPMS and 20" Rims Digital Dash

Hi - Help needed if possible

I have run out of support from the Dealership and VW-UK

I have 20" rims on the vehicle, the size of tyre I have is not listed within the software options up to 18" only (factory fitments).

I am running the tyres at 44 front 42 rear the pressures as specified for the 18" tyres, if I set to appropriate 20" pressures I continually alarm. Hard ride.

Has anyone else experienced the same issue and found a solution?

Either plant the correct pressures in the software or increase the +/- range for the alarm or turn off the alarm function.

Might be worth you joining the T6 forum, fair bit of discussion about it on there.

Simple answer is Speak to Bognor Motors they can recode your TPMS to accept custom tyre pressures.

I thought VW could do it now as they sell official 20" rims for transporters.

Bognor were a bit too far for me.

Apparently within the as set VW software there is a “Individual” Setting for tyre pressures that can only be released within the software that any pressure you wish can be entered.
Euro Performance of Llantrissant set mine up to have my requested front and rear pressures without changing any of the VW set ones.
