T6 beach roof

hi there, we are due to go away tomorrow but forecast is miserable. Is the roof canvas waterproof or not(have read it is and it isn't)?

By most/all accounts the t6 fabric is more waterproof but also but transparent.
It seems to withhold a pretty good amount of rain but you'll always get splashes through the vents if the wind blows it sideways.
It's definitely fit for purpose which is camping in all weathers.

Should be waterproof it is on a t5.

It's a natural material and like traditional tents it needs to get wet when new whereby the fibres swell and become waterproofish. Only up to a point though, heavy driving rain and wind will test it rather more. You need to avoid contacting the material in these conditions too.

I slept through a huge thunderstorm in the last few days it was windy with very heavy rain and persistent. I checked in the AM and there was not a drop inside. It will hold up very well, I have no worries about it now.
