The Van is finally with the dealer!!

So, after an extremely long wait. Our California ocean reached the dealer early this week (according to VW chat) we’ve waited for them to contact us and then gave in and called the dealer. The California named person is on holiday this week (explains why we haven’t had contact). With a holiday booked for 7th August (we took a gamble and booked some sites) we’re now wondering if we need to dust off the tent

What’s all your experiences from delivery to dealer till handover of keys?? Do you think our California will be joining us on our summer hols this year or not?

Just be a pain up the backside (VW Chat + local dealer) & chase them constantly - schools have now broken up so many staff from dealerships will be taking holidays etc.

I am sure that they can get the PDI done in that time. Let us know how you get on.

Pretty sure you’ll get it next week. Just keep on badgering the dealer

Whilst waiting for the dealer I’ve watched some other walk around videos and was soooo excited there she is in the background!!! Cherry red and newly delivered from the port!!…….ok I guess that’s really sad, but I’m so excited

You’re entitled to be excited! There’s no reason at all why you shouldn’t get your new pride and joy well in time for the holiday - you have the best part of two weeks. I would push them for pickup by Friday/Saturday of this week so you have a bit of time to get packed and ready for the off.
