Tow Bar Experiences Please

I'm thinking about having a detachable tow bar fitted to my Cali. I think I've found a good place to have it done. The main use will be for a bike rack.

The problem is I've had quite a lot of annoying squeaks and rattles to deal with since new (maybe I'm just too sensitive but that's how it is). I understand that the wiring runs under the van but then the passenger seat/base etc plus some trim around the dashboard will have to come out to make the connections.

My worry is that I'll create more rattles and squeaks which I really want to avoid.

So my question is - if you've retrofitted a tow bar, did you create any new problems or was it all ok?

Thanks

We had a genuine Westfalia/VW one fitted on a Cali, no problems. All the coding done to disable the rear parking sensors, no extra rattles or squeaks. Cost around £440 if I remember correctly.

Fitted my own, no rattles etc. I too am very sensitive to unusual noises

Thanks for the info both. :thumb
Think I'll take the plunge in the next few weeks.
