Rear cycle mounted storage box

Here’s my answer to additional storage, using a Zarges aluminium box ( 162 litres) attached to Atera Strada DL3 cycle mount with M8 stainless steel bolts (x 4) with spacers and washers.
Benefits are :-

• Lightweight - the box weighs in at 10kg leaving 35kg for storage.
• Easy access to the boot.
• Secure and water proof.

Negatives are :-

Quite expensive - box £613 and bike rack £ 395.
I jumped the gun and purchased a second hand Westfalia cycle rack and storage box from eBay before we got our van which didn’t allow access to the rear
