Trouble putting multiflex / bed extension back.

We successfully removed the multi flex board the other day. But, now we can’t put it back! The usually helpful California Chris is not so much help to us today.

It’s easy to see what’s going on on with the runners on the left-hand side, but not the right-hand side that doesn’t seem to be dropping into place. Any tips?

Certainly a knack to it.

I've found side to side motion can sometime help settle it into place.

Pro-tip: dip the ends in first, then slowly bring down into place.

Up, down, side to side, wiggles, nothing seems to make it securely fix in place.

Thanks very much for the replies. After much fiddling about it did go in. But, I'm left feeling that things are still not quite right. I'm pretty confident that everything is in place underneath, but those little grey plastic catches that are supposed to hold the board in place on the surface do not actually stop me lifting the board.

Am I still not doing things correctly? Or, do I have a problem?
