Two years with our Delia...

Hi,

It's now been over two years since we've had Delia. Tens of thousands of miles later, we couldn't be happier...
Like with all Cali's, she's not without her faults, but her positives far outweigh the negatives.
Thought I'd share some photos of our trips!

No wonder you couldn't choose - those are all fabulous pictures. Looks like you've had some amazing adventures. We've only had our Cali since November, and haven't had time to go out of the UK yet, but our lovely boy goes off to uni in September, and then the world is our oyster (so long as we keep sending him the cheques). If we see scenery half as nice as those pics, we'll be very happy. Please keep posting your photos as they are brilliant.

Hehe, we do try. But the secret usually is the further away from civilization we are, the better the spot.
But anyone on here is pretty aware of that, I'm sure...

Well, you'll be in for a treat then, plenty of incredible places to discover and you won't need to go far. France has incredible places for example, we like it very much and we always have to cross it to get out of our little corner in Portugal. We are looking forward to visiting the UK, Scotland and Ireland as well.
Croatia, Slovenia, Austria, Belgium, Netherlands, Italy, Switzerland are among the places we've been, and I would recommend every one (although beware of Switzerland, despite it's beauty, has some pretty quirky laws and is quite expensive).
Every country is filled with incredible places (for us that love nature and the outdoors), you just have to go look for them - and there inlies the fun!

I bought the aluminium rail at an electrical & lighting supply store, like they use in houses nowadays. It's a thin aluminium "U" shaped profile sold along with a thin strip of white plastic diffuser that snaps on to the aluminium. Inside you put the LED strip you want.

Bought some RGB LED strip off of amazon or ebay, and used double sided non residue tape to secure the rails with the strip inside. That way I made no holes or damaged the van in any way, if I want I can remove everything and she's unharmed and fully original.

Hehehehe, no, it's us that are tiny! Portuguese people descend from the hobbit, that's why my english is half decent.
