Upholstery Error

I don't know how it took me 6 weeks to notice this !
Alacantara and Leather seats yet 1 of the 4 arm rests on the front seats is upholstered in cloth. I'm assuming this is the cloth, had I has cloth upholstery. Needless to say this will be a visit to the dealer. I Imagine the armrests detach so shouldn't be a big issue.
Maybe worth a quick check for any other new owners.

Wow, that's quite some obvious mistake isn't it - it makes you wonder how on earth that is possible!! That's almost like one exterior panel being in a different colour !!

I'm sure it will be an easy fix (or knowing VW a whole new seat!!)

Yes I'm thinking it should be quick & easy but judging from some of the tales on here I'm sure I'll even struggle to get a response to my email sent this morning with photos !

The seats are not made + VW plant in Hannover .
They are made by subcontractor and arrive "just in time" next to the production line ready to go in ....
Sure there must be a better quality control to prevent this.

Maybe it was changed by someone after it left the factory?? It only takes a couple of minutes to change over.
