Vendée Globe 2016/17

Anyone else going to be following the Vendee Globe yacht race? Singlehanded round the world non stop in simply insane 60ft yachts. Some of the fleet have hydrofoils to provide extra lift, reputed to save around 4 days of race time if they don't break in the Southern Ocean.

Absolutely. Watched the start at lunchtime and have been checking hourly since.

Nice to see Mr Tomson romping his way up the fleet after a reticent start. Long way to go though....
