Maybe something to do with the Power Consumption
Waeco 0.67 amps/hr and Dometic 3.9 amps/hr. I know which one I would go for if Off Grid.

Hi purchased the B40 some time ago. Brilliant to take extra food we use more as a freezer preparing meals before we go or pick up extras on way back from the beach. It's a compressor fridge/ freezer which I think is the same as SE.
Only downside is a little large to fit in van with everything else for camping. Hope this helps.
