Coming home from Winchester today Yellow Engine warning light came on. AA reset light at home. following faults recorded
  • PIBD600 - combustion chamber pressure sensor -sporadic fault (cylinder 3)
  • PO1Z100- TPS signal improbable - sporadic
faults deleted and saved - advised visit dealer if reoccurs.

Out for test run ok until I stopped and restarted now light back on. Sat pm B/H weekend so no dealer until Tuesday.

Any heads up of those listed faults

Don’t know the first one, second one should be to do with the Tyre Pressure Monitoring System. Tyre pressures OK? Doesn’t put an engine light on though.

Hi @Meoncoast ive seen this fault code a lot across the whole transporter and California range the pressure sensor gives an implausible reading causing a knock on effect of other sensors a new pressure sensor will be required but it’s a good couple of hours work to replace the sensor. Get your vehicle booked in after the bank Holliday it will not have a knock on effect if your just doing short journeys but a long journey could cause your vehicle to go in to limp mode as the diesel particulate filter will not go into regeneration.

Will update progress

Remember if you call VW Assist they get a priority booking you in to a dealer.. ;)

We get 48 hours to turn a vehicle around that comes via VWA if you get mobex’d that is. There is no priority booking we just have to fit it in around everything else that is already booked in.

Nice new

Nice new avatar Loz!

AA said if it comes on again ring VWA during office hours and get full VWA to come out as they have more diagnostics - so will do that and they can support van centre visit. It appears basic AA Monday to Friday and full VWA office hours!

Perhaps that is an old fault then on van "brain" as I did have a low tyre pressure a few weeks ago.

"Back pm on the road again" all running well new sensor and glow plug + tubing fitted. can fault service from VWA and Breeze Van centre Totton.
