My Eurovan Westfalia (California Coach) has Continental 195/70 R 15 C Radial 104/102 R 4 PLY tires that have a max load of 900kg at 65psi. They were looking a little low on air and when I checked, one was at 25psi, the others ranged between 30 to 35psi.

I'm guessing not 65psi unless the van was fully loaded. So what should it be if I load up the van with 3 people, stocked cupboards and a full fridge? 40?

Can't help you there I'm afraid. Can you find an owners manual on line perhaps?

I'd guess somewhere around 40 should do. Try it and see how the tide is?

Is there not a plate fixed to the closure face of the door with that information on?

I keep my Cali SE at 45 all round.

Thanks for the replies. I managed to remember to look inside the driver's door. On mine, it says 43 psi for the fronts and 48 psi for the rears, but it's for lower 100 load rating tires.

I'll give that a try this week and see how it goes.

Thanks again!
