Who broke down

One way to improve fuel consumption :shocked

We are an eagle eyed bunch when it comes to California’s.

I did wonder that, but it was on an AA truck, and I’m not sure they use AA trucks for general transport.
When our Cali was picked up and returned after having the roof done at Westbury in 2015, it was an AA flat bed truck use for both collection and delivery.

On the way to collect Grandpa Ron from my brother-in-law who lives near Ashbourne.

396 miles round trip
47.8 mpg on the MFD
You have been in my neck of the woods then..and our son and family live down your way..

Ok know it, wasted a few quid in the local pub. grew up in Doveridge.

Sure it wasn’t being nicked?

What? No mention of the 12v kettle?

Maybe the right front axle shaft had lost it's teeth.
Mine did in september 2017, the day I arrived home after a 14 day holiday to the south of France.
VW put the shaft dry over the stub, and the Cali always sleeps outside, so the thing was rusting away it's teeth joyfully... :sad

About 100 000 km driven, in 7 years...

Too bad I think most of us have / will suffer(ed) from this one day...
Thank you VW for not putting things together the right way.
Just like the EGR valve/cooler... I was stranded in Sarlat-la-Canéda, where I wanted to be, so that was less bad.

But I can't upload a picture now because the uploaded file is too large for the server to process?
I compressed it , but it still doesn't work?
I post them later
