I've just had my windscreen replaced due to impact damage from a flying wheel nut! looking at whats been put in it just sort of looks wrong.

There is the A pillar then a gap before you get to the glass. I don't recall ever seeing the edge of the glass before & thought there was a pit of beading/trim that went over the gap. Am I just imagining things?

Many thanks, I now think its as the new screen has a white chalky mark down the edge & the gap looks to be a bit bigger than before, it just caught my eye.

Definitely a gap. Supposed to be there as I keep having to pick out Pine Needles from there from our garden tree.
