Wing mirror & window not working

We bashed the driver's side wing mirror against another wing mirror a couple of weeks ago. Managed to wrench the mirror back into position, but now neither the driver's side wing mirror or the driver's window are operational. The passenger side mirror and window work ok (though passenger mirror cannot be operated from the driver's side).

Our local everyday VW garage couldn't work out what was wrong (perhaps not enough time, but we had to have the van back to go on holiday!). The van is now booked in at TC Garage, Copthorne (recommended by Bilbo's) next week, but in the meantime I wondered if anyone on the forum might know what the problem was - maybe a fuse? Would be good to save repair time and money if possible. The van is a T6 Ocean.

I would think you've pulled a wire or two out when the mirror was hit.

Please let us know how you get on with TC garage - always good to have options and we're not far away in Redhill.
