Yet another vehicle classification ... with Calmac between Oban & Mull?

I am ready to now begin to book another journey and I don't know how to classify a Beach for Calmac between Mull & Oban

How has anyone classified a Beach (or a Cali) with Calmac? People Carrier? Etc.?

I looked at prices recently for the ferry over to Islay and the prices were the same for a motorhome under 5 metres as for a car or SUV... so I went with motorhome.

I booked Arran Ferries last year as a high car + rear cycle carrier and had no problems.

I always choose people carrier, or MPV if it's listed. Car, if not.

If you look at the Calmac timetables you'll see that a Motorhome under 6 metres (ie a Cali) is the same price as a car anyway. So it doesn't actually matter what you call it when you book, they won't care.

THANK YOU all for your clear help ... that it in a sense is not clear! Life & travel with a Cali would be boring otherwise.
