Belated Intro!

Hi All

Finally getting around to posting here having picked up our T6 Beach (Acapulco Blue) back in July. We are planning to use it as our daily vehicle (albeit, mostly weekends) as well as for longer breaks in the UK (and hopefully beyond) for us and our two boys (aged 4 and nearly 2)

We've already managed to get a week away in South Wales, fortunately coinciding with a full week of sun, and it was everything that we had hoped (except for the cold at night - lessons learnt from that!). Hoping to get away for a short break or two before the end of the year before some longer trips next year

First service due next week, so hopefully no surprises there. On that point, we will also be getting them to have a look at a couple of the window blinds, which don't close particularly well - problem seems to be with the runners. Not sure if anyone else has had similar issues?

Just must drive a lot of miles from july to october to have the first service done already?

It was indeed second hand - just over a year old so purely bad timing.

As a follow up to this, the service is due on Monday. I received a mail, and text, yesterday from the dealer to state that it would not normally be due until either 20k miles or 2 years. I called today to confirm, as I was told at the time of purchase (by the same dealer) that we should get it serviced in line with the notifications on the control panel - in addition, we didn’t want to invalidate the warranty. Was told to still bring it in, as there were a couple of other things to check anyway, and that they would determine then if it needed servicing. Will post again after Monday

Great colour, just can’t see it in the photos !

There’s lots of post regarding the blind issues, there should be some little black felt bits in the runners that help to keep them closed.
