Defo - minus 5 in Scotland but the van held up well day before it was 50MPH gusts
@ibis64 Good to know. Did you have the roof up in 50mph? Cheers, Cliff & Deborah
Yes had the roof up with the topper attached as that really gives the roof a lot of strength. It was one of those damed if you do damned if you dont moments with regards to taking the roof down as I was worried a gust would get underneath it whilst trying to take it down so I left it up for several hours. I did end up dropping it down in the end but left the topper attached while the wife held the roof down inside and I removed the topper. I should say that my van is a Beach so doesnt have the electric roof. I also have the confortz awning sides for the cali awning and they were also good in that wind, had the sides pegged down well with hard standing pegs.
