Has anyone one used the totalcool and has any reviews.... looking to buy one for a trip to SW France to keep the temp down for the dog

Never used one so happy to be corrected but that seems very expensive for a simple evaporative cooler (a fan that blow airs air over water).
Desktop USB versions using the same principal cost about £50.
As I said could be wrong but for that money I would expect a genuine air con unit.
You could also get a similar effect by filling the sink with water and positioning a normal fan to blow accross the surface (slight exageration)

We have a similar device with a different name (Transcool). Uses 12V (not USB) and keeps our dog nice and cool on the floor while we drive (and we live in France!)
