East Creech Farm in the Purbecks treating us well for the night. Easy cycle to the blue pool down the road and Kimmeridge bay to watch the sunset. Trying out the new Cinch Hub too which has proved a hit with a family game of monopoly late into the night (photo taken earlier).93A61AE6-D153-4946-B95E-C4C04E3B3D92.jpegD617E1A4-F29B-4D50-9A93-F430DCDE9CFE.jpeg43CD256B-CCFA-40D1-81C5-E94D7ED5A89A.jpeg

After spending some time at Lake Vyrnwy, we fancied a drink and 35 miles later, arrived here - Wood’s brewery, Craven Arms. Had a drink or two outside the Plough, in the sun and were fortunate enough to be able to park up on the Brewery car park.

Wistanstow? Did you pop in and say hi to my folks for me?
Hoping they had enough sense to stay in the warm. It was a perfect blue sky but we both had 2 coats on. Lovely village but a GC was about as big as you’d want to drive down those lanes.

They’re currently isolating ahead of mum’s hip replacement. But I recognised the pub from your pics and comments. Love that place, good food and a warm welcome every time.

Drive camping to keep distance with my parents and they can see their grandchild! Worked great!

Very different weather here - Cloudy and a bit of light rain at Tudor Oak Campsite (Slimbridge) today. Long bike ride tomorrow weather permitting.

Recommend a visit to the Purton Hulks and then onto lunch at the Sharpness Dockers' Club. Check that the Club is open (web site or phone) and serving food - expect it is. If they are doing Roast Lunch then it is a must. Fantastic roast, including veggie, then apple crumble and custard to die for - £10! Enjoy!

The Sharpness Dockers Club allow camping in their field too for a small fee.

Yes, £5/night I believe. Very limited facilities. I think one needs to call and say you are coming.
