The only problem now is the garage overfilled the oil so now I need to get it sorted myself as the garage in question is 7 hours away!
Yea I saw this, but after checking the level, it is over the second ball on the dipstick.
TBH never checked mine as all ok, but when we had overfilling when I was a mechanic it was a simple job to pop off the sump plug and just drain a little out. One assumes it's the same here and your biggest job is likely getting to the sump plug?Yea I saw this, but after checking the level, it is over the second ball on the dipstick.
You would be better off having an Oil Change rather than reducing the level. Local Dealership or Independent.Yea I saw this, but after checking the level, it is over the second ball on the dipstick.
Yea literally just had that as I bought from a garage. They’ve just said sorry for overfilling it and told me they’ll pay for another garage to fix it (as I live several hours from them). You would be better off having an Oil Change rather than reducing the level. Local Dealership or Independent.
You could get a 50/100 ml syringe and tube and suck out via Dipstick hole?Yea literally just had that as I bought from a garage. They’ve just said sorry for overfilling it and told me they’ll pay for another garage to fix it (as I live several hours from them).
Yea I did think about that based on that california time YouTube video, but not sure on the additional tube you need to get down in the dipstick hole…You could get a 50/100 ml syringe and tube and suck out via Dipstick hole?
