T6.1 Ocean - New owner

Hi all,

Really enjoying the forum so far, lots of great articles/information to work through. I realised my first post was in response to an item for sale. I thought I should make an additional post to introduce myself .

We received our T6.1 Ocean back in March and have been making good use of it so far. My daughter loves the “bus” just as much as we do - it’s been a great purchase so far.

We opted for a two tone (ascot grey/candy white) with 4 motion and a few other options. We have the option of a leaky pop top which we never spec’d like a few folks here but other than that the van has been flawless. We’ve been to some amazing places so far and are looking forward to continue exploring this year (weather permitting) and for years to come.

Looks super, but is so expensive for 2 non-metallic paints. I expect that will make it very rare, and potentially sought-after.
I wonder how many were delivered to the UK in Candy/Ascot 2-tone?

Thanks for the comments. The colour stood out to us from the beginning and it took some deliberation before we went with it. We had originally ordered ascot grey non 4 motion but changed our minds part way through. Both options were very expensive but I’m glad we went for them in the end. Funnily enough we seen another one on the road coming back from north of Scotland. We were heading south and the other was heading north. That’s the only time I have seen the same colour on the road, it’s pretty subtle in certain lights so can be hard to discern between all white or all ascot.

Nice van! We’re also enjoying the freedom it brings to go and explore, or like me at the moment, turn it into a workmans van while fitting a bathroom for my son and daughter in law . You get some puzzled looks at Trade Point!
