Nice awning tent. We have the same I think. Yours looks very symetrical and plumb, ... do you have to adjust if there is rain (flat awning roof?). I struggle with setting a fall on the awning roof and putting all 3 sides on
Key is keeping the awning legs quite high. This makes it more taught when pegging out the 3 sides and makes it easier to drop one side. Drop one leg if it rains during the day. Always drop one leg at night as a precaution and readjust in the morning. Everyone has their own way of doing things but I hate to see the awning looking untidy.

me too!... so, do you have the high side above horizontal? Or still always keep at horizontal or a slight fall on it?

Somewhere in the Auvergne, found this little gem which we have to ourselves. €10 a night if you don’t want to use the shower/compost toilet €20 if you do. Sending this whilst enjoying a fire on our private pontoon

Loving them so far. Will giving them a proper test in Sardinia next week - there are some good off road tracks I’ll be trying.

Exactly this. One leg slightly above horizontal and then drop the other leg at night. Never had pooling in the rain so seems to work and the awning always looks better when taught.

On my way South down from Berwick I decided to make a detour onto Holy Island as the tide times were ideal. I very soon hit the back of a large queue which took about half an hour to actually get onto the causeway that leads to the island. I have never seen so much traffic going to the island. It turns out that it has become a "film location" as Danny Boyle filmed some of 28 Years Later there. So another wonderful spot ruined by over tourism. Grrrrr :(IMG_7024S.jpg
